₹858.56 Crore in Unclaimed Deposits Returned in Kerala

Nationalised banks in Kerala returned ₹858.56 crore from unclaimed deposits to eligible account holders and legal heirs. Around ₹1,275 crore remains unclaimed across more than five million accounts. Banks and authorities are continuing awareness campaigns to identify eligible claimants and help them complete the process required to recover long-inactive deposits.
