Kuwait’s Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Dr Mohammad Al-Wasmi said the anniversary of the Iraqi invasion remains a national occasion to honour the sacrifices made in defence of the country. He praised Kuwait’s martyrs, resistance members and all who protected its sovereignty. Remembering the invasion, he said, strengthens loyalty, national responsibility and unity while reinforcing the duty to safeguard security and stability.
