Centre puts Edappally-Aroor elevated highway project on hold
The Union government has put the proposed Edappally-Aroor elevated highway project in Kerala on hold, with current highway projects being given priority, according to the report. The corridor had been proposed as a major traffic solution for the busy Kochi bypass stretch. The decision means the project will not move into immediate construction while resources and approvals are focused on schemes already under execution. The project can be reconsidered later depending on policy, funding and planning priorities.
