The revamped competition uses a shorter early-round scoring format and is scheduled over two days before the singles draws. Entries close on August 17, qualifying is set for August 24 and the main two-day event begins August 25. Defending champions Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori are also entered, while Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz were absent.
