
French DJ and electropop musician Kavinsky dies aged 50
French electronic musician Kavinsky, whose real name was Vincent Belorgey, has died aged 50 after being found at his Paris home. The Paris prosecutor’s office opened an inquiry to determine the cause of death and said first responders found no suspicious elements at the scene. Kavinsky was internationally known for the synthwave track “Nightcall,” featured in the film Drive, and was regarded as an influential figure in France’s electronic music scene.
