
GCC condemns Houthi attack on Najran that injured civilians
GCC Secretary-General Jasem Al-Budaiwi condemned Houthi attacks targeting Saudi Arabia’s southern Najran region after several civilians were injured. He described the attacks as a violation of international and humanitarian law and said deliberately targeting civilians threatens regional and international security. Al-Budaiwi stressed that Saudi Arabia’s security is inseparable from the security of the GCC states and affirmed the council’s support for measures taken by the Kingdom to protect its sovereignty and people.
