Jharkhand youth protests intensify over alleged exam leaks
A fresh youth agitation has spread in the Indian state of Jharkhand, where thousands of students are protesting alleged leaks and irregularities in civil-service examinations. Demonstrators have used hunger strikes and other forms of protest, building on anger that had already surfaced in the so-called “cockroach” protests. The movement reflects growing frustration among job-seeking young people over recruitment examinations and demands for a transparent process and accountability from authorities.
