Kerala Plans Anti-Ragging Law and Student Complaint Application
The Kerala government will introduce special legislation aimed at preventing ragging, Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan said. The state also plans to launch a mobile application named after Siddharth, a student who died following an alleged ragging incident. Students will be able to submit complaints directly through the application. The proposed system is intended to provide students with a dedicated channel for reporting ragging allegations and seeking intervention from the authorities.
