
Kerala Human Rights Commission orders road-safety probe after Pattoor crash
The Kerala State Human Rights Commission has ordered an urgent investigation into the July 29 Pattoor road accident and alleged safety flaws on the General Hospital-Pattoor stretch in Thiruvananthapuram. A motorcycle rider, Prashanth, suffered severe injuries and lost a leg after a collision with a car. The Road Safety Commissioner was directed to examine road design and traffic management with the Road Fund Board and traffic police, identify any responsible agencies and recommend corrective measures.
