U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell has been discharged from a rehabilitation facility and will continue recovering at home after spending more than seven weeks receiving treatment following a fall. The 84-year-old Kentucky Republican said he will undergo intensive physical therapy at home and continue carrying out Senate work remotely during his recovery. McConnell was hospitalized after the June incident and later moved to rehabilitation. He has previously announced that his current Senate term, which runs through January 2027, will be his last.
