'No abnormality found in fuel control switch': Govt on Air India Boeing 787 crash

The Indian government says testing found no abnormality in the locking mechanism of the Boeing 787 fuel-control switches linked to the Air India flight AI-171 crash. The complete thrust-control module remains under examination as the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau continues its inquiry. The June 2025 Ahmedabad disaster killed 241 people on board and 19 on the ground, with one survivor. Investigators are assessing why the switches moved from RUN to CUTOFF before impact.
