No Fault Found in Air India 787 Fuel Switch Mechanism
India’s government says testing found no abnormality in the fuel-control switch locking mechanism of the Air India Boeing 787 involved in the June 2025 AI-171 crash. The investigation into the disaster, which killed 260 people on board and on the ground, remains under way. Officials said the complete thrust-control module is still being examined at a Boeing facility in the United States and all possible causes remain under review.
