Oman awarded 74 government contracts valued at RO 734 million during the first seven months of 2026, according to Oman Observer. The programme included 60 tenders worth RO 365 million across healthcare, transport and other public projects. Among the largest commitments were medicine supplies valued at more than RO 200 million and the RO 157 million expansion of Muscat Expressway. The figures represent awarded contracts and should not be read as expenditure already completed in full.
