Irish singer-songwriter Glen Hansard, who won an Academy Award for “Falling Slowly” from the film Once, has died aged 56 in a motorcycle crash near Dublin. Hansard was the frontman of The Frames and later performed with Markéta Irglová as The Swell Season.
