Kuwait’s Ministry of Commerce has restricted access to subsidised food supplies to citizens, their family members and registered domestic workers. The decision removes eligibility from other categories and reinforces controls intended to prevent misuse of the ration system. Anyone found reselling, transferring or improperly using subsidised goods may face suspension of benefits and referral for legal action under the applicable rules.
