Saudi environment ministry launches Rafha farmers’ festival
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has launched a farmers’ festival in Rafha to promote local agricultural production and support food-security goals. The event brings together growers and producers, offering a platform to display local products, exchange expertise and strengthen links between farmers and consumers. It is also intended to highlight agricultural opportunities in the Northern Borders region. The ministry says such events form part of efforts to improve rural livelihoods and increase the contribution of domestic farming to food supply.
