Tadej Pogacar said he needed time before deciding whether to ride the Vuelta a España, the only Grand Tour he has not won. The Spanish race begins in Monaco on August 22, and his agent said a decision was expected within seven to ten days after discussions with UAE Team Emirates-XRG management and coach Javier Sola. Pogacar had just become the fifth man to win five Tour de France titles. His Vuelta participation remained under consideration, not confirmed.
