Two arrested in Meerut for allegedly posing as police and journalists
Police in Meerut arrested two people accused of operating with a honeytrap group and posing as police officers and journalists to demand money from victims, India Today reported. Investigators said the alleged scheme used intimidation and false identities after targets were drawn into compromising situations. The arrests are part of an ongoing inquiry, and the allegations have not yet been tested in court.
