Yemen Envoy Warns of Iranian Air Link to Houthis

Yemen’s ambassador to Kuwait, Dr. Ali bin Safaa, accused Iran of seeking to deepen regional instability by establishing a regular air link with the Houthis. He said such a route could move military expertise, sensitive equipment and technology into Yemen and threaten Red Sea navigation. The envoy urged international action to prevent civilian aviation from being used as cover, while stressing Yemen’s authority over its airports, ports and airspace.
